I bought this camara for three reasons the touch screen technology, the sleek design, and it wasn't as pricey is the comparative Sony. I love the sleek design of the Nikon and in my opinion, its one of the better looking slim camaras on the market. But the people at Nikon could have paid a little more attention to detail like the folks at Sony. For example, the power button is exposed, as opposed to the Sony's which has a gaurd so that you don't accidently turn it on/off. This isn't such a big deal, but when you go to places like a theme park, you don't want to worry about your camara accidently turning on inside the case, and running out of batteries (which happened a couple of times for ). It's someting you have to watch out for constantly, which is a bit annoying. Plus, instead of one single flash, the Nikon's is a series of flashes that always manage to blind people. this is my Logitech quickcam web camera its a nice little web camera it does have sound built in and here im testing it. it works with all the major Instand messaging programs like AIM and video chat programs like Skype and Stickam. I have a new digital camera the Canon powershot A560 7 MP its a very nice camera if you are thinking of buying a new digital camera i would reccommend this one, it shoots in MJpeg video at 160x120 (Email) 320x240 (Normal) and 640x480 (HQ) with PCM 11.025 mono audio so Windows movie maker is supported, but copy the videos to your HD before importing them or youll get red X's for some reason it does that to me and it may hang movie maker but I take the media card out of the camera and put it in my card reader and its fine and the videos made by this camera can be pretty big so id reccommend a big memory card like a 2 GB(Minimum) but they have 4 and 8 gig ones too especially if you shoot lots of videos for youtube. If you use a SDHC card make sure you buy an SDHC card reader, I bought one that plugs into USB and works just like a thumb drive. Don't buy the cheap 30-in-one USB card readers that you find at the dollar stores b/c those do not work with the SDHC cards. Here is what mine looks like: t1.gstatic.com You can either buy this one but any high speed USB 2.0 SD card reader that supports the larger SDHC cards will work.

This is the third video placed by the uploader of this video into a playlist containing all of the videos captured on Day 1 of this two-day festival. A newly-bought Sony-Cyber-Shot 10.2-Megapixel Digital Camera-HX5V was used to capture all of the videos taken on Day 1 of ROTR 2010. The sound quality turned out to be disastrous and the camera was returned to Best Buy for a full refund. Sound quality returns to the usual acceptable quality on videos captured on Day 2 of ROTR using my old Sony camera. Moral: if you plan to shoot loud music videos, do not buy a Sony HX5V digital camera.)
